Eng. The Ones I Kept

In “Las que me quedé yo”, a 3 minute-long stop-motion animation, I explore my relationship to three important matriarchs in my family through textiles and archival images.  Using found photographs of my three great-aunts, Paqui, Noni, and Bertita, I navigate the differences between my aunts as I knew them and the women they were before I was born.
